This is an appeal from a division of property in a divorce action. At issue is whether the trial court abused its discretion by not specifically considering the communitys interest, if any, in the increase in value of the separate property portion of stock in a closely-held corporation in which all of the corporations stock was issued in the husbands name. The stock was originally received in exchange for both community and separate assets. The court of civil appeals held that the trial court, "in making a division of the estate, did not take into consideration the large increment to [the husbands] separate property by reason of community labor and as a result the division of the estate was manifestly unfair to [the wife]." 618 S.W.2d 820, 824. We reverse the judgment of the court of civil appeals and affirm the judgment of the trial court.
